Post 180 Scholarship Information

Any senior who lives in the Weld RE-3J School District who is a direct descendant of someone who served in the Armed Forces, or any Post 180 veteran or veteran’s spouse, may apply.

• The scholarship is provided by The American Legion, American Legion Auxiliary, Sons of The American Legion, and American Legion Riders at Post 180 in Keenesburg, Colorado.
• The scholarship amount is $1,000, paid in two $500 payments.
• The first $500 payment requires proof of enrollment in an accredited college, university, or trade school.
• The second $500 payment requires a first-semester transcript showing a grade average of 2.8 or higher. A lower grade average forfeits the second payment.
• This is a one-time scholarship opportunity. No re-applications will be accepted.

Scholarship history: Post 180 appreciates our veterans and the sacrifices they have made for our freedom. This scholarship is one way the Post 180 Legion Family can support veterans and their families and say thank you for their service.
